Passos & Loveri ft. Pietro Condorelli

The evening continues with the Passos Loveri Duo, joined by a special guest: Pietro Condorelli, one of the leading figures in Italian jazz and professor at the San Pietro a Majella Conservatory in Naples. Born in Milan and raised in Caserta, Condorelli is considered one of the most original voices in European jazz guitar.

His career — which includes collaborations with Jerry Bergonzi, Lee Konitz, Gary Bartz, and George Cables — reflects his ability to combine technical mastery, improvisational freedom, and contemporary sensitivity. His discography, culminating in recent works such as Visions, reveals an artist who not only preserves tradition but continuously reinterprets it, blending swing, modernity, and personal exploration.

His participation in the 5th edition of the festival strengthens the bond between roots and modernity: tradition becomes a fertile ground for contemporary creation, and jazz continues to thrive as a music of community and dialogue.

Its presence at the festival seeks to build a symbolic bridge between the popular ritual of marching bands and the roots of jazz, bringing audiences the vibrant energy of a living community tradition.
